While L1 keeps everything local-only, L2 allows you to share data with your team through secure cloud storage while protecting your privacy through our API proxy system. All Google Maps and Places API calls are routed through Whizplan servers, so Google sees us, not your individual users.
What is API Privacy Proxying?

API Privacy Proxying means that when L2 makes calls to external services like Google Maps or Google Places, those requests go through Whizplan's servers first. This protects your users' identity and location data from being tracked by Google. Instead of seeing individual user queries with IP addresses and device information, Google only sees requests from Whizplan's infrastructure. This significantly enhances privacy for your team's location searches and travel planning.
How does the HR Dashboard work?

Yes! While L2 offers optional cloud sync for team collaboration, all data is still cached locally on each team member's device. This means employees can access their travel plans, make updates, and review risk assessments even when offline. Changes sync automatically when connectivity is restored.
How is data synced between team members?

L2 uses secure cloud storage powered by Supabase to sync travel plans between team members and the HR Dashboard. When an employee creates or updates a trip, the changes are automatically synced to authorized team members and managers. All API calls are proxied for privacy, and you maintain full control over who can access which trips.
