L2 Encrypted uses end-to-end encryption (E2EE) where your travel data is encrypted on your device before transmission. The data travels through our servers in encrypted form and can only be decrypted by devices with your organization's shared encryption key. This means your trip information is protected at every step - in transit and at rest on our servers.

Shared organization keys are encryption keys that your organization controls and distributes to authorized team members. All team members use the same key to encrypt and decrypt travel data. This enables seamless collaboration while maintaining zero-knowledge privacy - the keys never leave your organization's control, and Whizplan never has access to them.

Correct! With L2 Encrypted's zero-knowledge architecture, we only store encrypted ciphertext on our servers. Without your organization's encryption key, it's mathematically impossible for us - or any third party - to decrypt your data. We have no backdoors, no master keys, and no way to access your travel information. Your organization maintains complete control.

Metadata API Proxying goes beyond basic API proxying. Not only do we route Google Maps and Places API calls through our servers (like L2), but L2 Encrypted also anonymizes metadata like timestamps, query patterns, and usage frequency. This prevents even sophisticated tracking attempts through metadata analysis. Google sees aggregated Whizplan queries with no way to correlate them to individual users or organizations.
